Flight of the Conchords star Jemaine Clement mocks Lily Allen's new Womanizer sex toy

Flight of the Conchords star Jemaine Clement has joked he's releasing his own sex toy after singer Lily Allen promoted the launch of her collaboration with adult device brand Womanizer.

Allen revealed 'The Liberty' on Twitter, writing that she was "really excited" about the new product, which was born out of her love for the wildly popular sex toy 'The Womanizer'.

The 'Smile' hitmaker said the sex toy "changed her life".

"Women shouldn't be ashamed of their sexuality, and we all deserve to own our pleasure. Hopefully this little toy will help you do that!" she wrote, along with the hashtag #IMasturbate.

Clement responded with a gag about his own design for an adult device, tweeting: "Guys, I'm making my own sex toy as well. It's just a glove with a picture of Kate Bush on it - but you can change it for Magnum PI. Stay tuned for details."

Meanwhile, Allen's fans praised her for her openness about female self-pleasure.

"After reading your memoir where you talk about having a real messed up relationship with sexuality for so long, it's awesome to see where you are now. So many women have struggled with this. You look comfortable and happy and we love to see it," one Twitter user wrote.

"F**k the haters."

While Allen's followers celebrated the launch of 'The Liberty', Clement's joined in on the laughs. One Twitter user went as far as making a "prototype" of the Kiwi comedian's idea, featuring a white latex glove with a picture of Kate Bush taped to it.

"It's business time," wrote another fan, referring to the Flight of the Conchords song of the same name.
