'Beast mode!': Hollywood reacts to Chris Hemsworth's shocking transformation

Chris Hemsworth is looking more buff than ever ahead of his role as Hulk Hogan in a biopic about the WWE star and his transformation has dropped the jaws of many of his celebrity mates.

The Thor: Ragnarok star shared a snap on Instagram that showed off his bulging muscles as he flipped a huge tire as part of his workout routine.

The post has been liked over 4.3 million times and prompted an endorsement from Hogan himself, along with a wave of admiring comments from fellow actors Chris Pratt, Jason Momoa, Ruby Rose and Ken Jeong.

Hogan declared Hemsworth was "already there" in a tweet comparing his physique from his wrestling days to the Australian actor's new bod.

"He's ready brother! But is he good looking enough to play me? Lol, lol, lol," Hogan wrote.

Meanwhile, Pratt made a plea for Hemsworth to "stop working out" seeing as the pair would be starring together in the upcoming flick Thor: Love and Thunder

"Hey bud. Just heard from my trainer and he needs you to stop working out because since we're gonna be in the same movie and everything he doesn’t want me to stand next to you if you look like that so I'm gonna need you to put on 25 lbs real quick cool thanks," Pratt wrote.

Aquaman star Jason Momoa and Batwoman actor Ruby Rose both agreed Hemsworth had entered "beast mode", while Community's Ken Jeong simply chimed in with "Jesus".

Hemsworth spoke about taking on his new role as Hogan in a recent interview with Total Film, where he said the preparation would be "insanely physical".

"This movie is going to be a really fun project," Hemsworth said.

"I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor. There is the accent as well as the physicality and the attitude."
