After years of mimicking celebrities and politicians (Paula Bennett), comedian Tom Sainsbury has put his favourite Kiwi personalities in a book.
'New Zealanders: The Field Guide' is all about the weird and wonderful traits of New Zealanders.
"I'm always judging," he told The AM Show on Friday.
"My favourite for a long time was sitting at food courts and just taking my tray and sitting quite close to people."
"This is the thing, if you go into the really isolated places, that's where the real great characters are.
"Where their sense of reality is... not warped... but they've got their own sense of reality."
