Kourtney Kardashian's relationship with blink-182 drummer Travis Barker seems to be leaping from strength to strength, with the reality television star posting a vial of his blood to her Instagram story.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star re-shared the photo to her Instagram stories, which was originally shared by Barker, captioning it with a simple black heart.

Kardashian and Barker continue to be extremely candid about their love for each other across social media, with Kardashian recently sharing she had tattooed her love for her boyfriend on his forearm.

In a series of Instagram photos uploaded in May, Kardashian picked up a tattoo gun to ink a permanent "I love you" on the drummer.

Despite being her first attempt at tattooing, Barker described the reality TV star as the "best tattoo artist ever" and "a woman of many talents".

E News reported back in April that Travis "adores Kourtney and makes every day special".

"He has gone all out to shower her with love, affection, flowers, and gifts. He is very into her and waited a long time to be able to show her how much he cares," the source told the entertainment news outlet

"He wants to spend all of his time with her and is constantly telling her how much he loves her."

They're not the first celebrity couple to appreciate each other's blood, with their friend Machine Gun Kelly admitting to wearing his girlfriend's, Megan Fox, blood around his neck in a Valentine's Day post.

The original blood-wearing trendsetters were Billy Bob Thornton and Angelia Jolie, who wore lockets filled with each other's blood throughout their two-year marriage in the early 2000s.
