Former Home and Away star Dieter Brummer has passed away at the age of 45.
The actor was found dead in Glenhaven, in Sydney's north-west, on Saturday afternoon, News.com.au reports.
His death is not being treated as suspicious.
Brummer was best known for his role as Shane Parrish on Home and Away. He also appeared on shows such as Neighbours and Underbelly.
A spokesperson for Channel 7 told the Sydney Morning Herald the channel was "deeply saddened" to hear of his passing.
"Dieter was a much-loved Home and Away cast member and celebrated by Australian and international audiences for his award-winning portrayal of Shane Parrish," the spokesman said.
"We send our sincere condolences to Dieter's family and friends during this very difficult time."
