A trailer for the second season of raunchy series Bridgerton has been released and teases a feisty new romance.
The period drama became a hit partially thanks to its infamous sex scenes after season one premiered in December.
Season two is set to feature Sex Education star Simone Ashley as Kate Sharma and the trailer shows her confronting Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey).
During their tense conversation, Kate admonishes Anthony for viewing "women merely as chattels and breeding stock", but refers to his smile as "pleasing".
The clip suggests Anthony is excited about trying to woo the spirited Kate, with the second season set to focus on his journey to find love while becoming a Viscount.
"So you find my smile pleasing?" he asks Kate, who replies with a couple of sassy comments before walking off into the night with a smug smile of her own.
Netflix released the new trailer at Tudum, which the streaming service described as its "first-ever global fan event".
Several other trailers and sneak peeks were released during the three-hour livestream for movies and shows including Tiger King 2, The Crown season five, Stranger Things season four, Ozark season four, Cobra Kai season four, Emily in Paris season two, Vikings: Valhalla, Dwayne Johnson vehicle Red Notice, violent Chris Hemsworth action sequel Extraction 2 and Neil Gaiman adaptation The Sandman.
Bridgerton's second season will be released in January.
