Dwyane 'The Rock' Johnson is shocked by the uncanny similarity between him and a US police officer after a side-by-side comparison of the pair went viral.
"Oh shit! Wow," the Hollywood heavyweight wrote on Twitter in response to the pictures.
"Guy on the left is way cooler," he added, referring to Morgan County Sheriff's Office Patrol Lieutenant Eric Fields.
"Stay safe brother and thank you for your service," Johnson continued, extending an offer to one day meet up for a drink of his tequila brand Teremana.
"I need to hear all your 'Rock stories' because I KNOW you got 'em," he finished.
Lieutenant Fields told local news outlet Alabama Life the comparison to The Rock has been a "running joke" for years.
"I've been called The Rock and Vin Diesel's love child," he said.
"I go along with it. It's humorous. It's flattering. It could be worse people, I guess."
Fields responded to Johnson's tweet with a simple "thanks brother and cheers" along with a photo of himself posing with a bottle of Teremana.
According to a post on the Morgan County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, citizens sometimes request to meet the deputy "who people say looks like The Rock" - a request that Fields is happy to oblige.
