Justin Bieber has become the butt of countless jokes this week after donning an eye-catching outfit at the 2022 Grammy Awards.

The 'Baby' hitmaker posed for photos on the red carpet in a grey suit that was several sizes too big for him, teamed with a white tank top, platform Crocs and a pink beanie.

Bieber isn't the first celebrity to embrace the current trend of wearing a wildly oversized suit - Robert Pattinson attended the premiere of his movie The Batman in such a style, while Riz Ahmed rocked it at the Oscars.

But Bieber's baggy outfit appears to be amassing the biggest online pile-on.

"I [wouldn't] leave with my husband if he was wearing that. Hailey needs to put her foot down. Justin is embarrassing her looking like that," one woman commented on Facebook.

"Lol Justin Bieber looks like he was running late and borrowed Shaquille O'Neal's suit jacket," someone else tweeted, with another person adding: "Shout out to Balenciaga for designing a #GRAMMYs suit for Justin Bieber using Shaquille O'Neal's measurements."

"You cannot tell me that Justin Bieber is not actually two kids in a suit right here," tweeted another.

Other tweets about the outfit joked Bieber borrowed his father's suit, or had difficulty choosing the correct size while online shopping.

Some even suggested he resembled the child actor in the suit worn by Tom Hanks in the classic film Big.

While many people praised the ensemble worn by Bieber's wife Hailey, one Facebook user joked her strapless white gown resembled a piece of bedding.

"Teen couple run out of clean clothes and dress in oversized dad's suit and bed sheets until their load of laundry is done," they commented.

Bieber switches outfits before taking to the stage to perform a slowed down version of his hit 'Peaches'.

The pop star was nominated for eight awards, but won none.
