Gin Wigmore has cancelled her planned show at Hawke's Bay's Black Barn "due to the impact of recent weather events".

The show was supposed to take place on March 11, but as the clean-up continues after Cyclone Gabrielle, the show has been postponed.

"Regrettably, Gin Wigmore’s show at Black Barn in Hawke’s Bay will no longer be proceeding, due to the impact of recent weather events. The decision has been made to cancel the event, Gin looks forward to visiting the region at a later date," said Live Nation, the show's promoter, in a statement.

Those affected would be automatically refunded, the statement said.

Wigmore kicks off her tour in Gisborne tonight with two shows that have sold out on Wednesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 9.

The singer has also added a couple of extra dates too and will now play Mt Maunganui on Saturday, March 25 and Auckland on Sunday, March 26.

Tickets for the extra shows are on sale now.
