Married at First Sight Australia's John Aiken says contestants' behaviour shocks him 'all the time' even after ten seasons

Married at First Sight Australia relationship expert John Aiken says the contestants' bad behaviour still shocks him after ten seasons.

On Thursday when The Project asked if the terrible behaviour still shocks him he said "all the time."

"We've had many situations this year already where they not only behaved poorly but then they doubled down and said 'yeah I don't have a problem with that'," Aiken told The Project.

"It's not only what they're doing but they're not able to see the consequences of it."

He said he often feels like an old man yelling at the couples to sort themselves out.

"I think one of the big roles we play is trying to get them to develop insight.

"You're not going to be able to change if you can't see the problem," Aiken said.

"Unfortunately a lot of the people on the show don't know why they are single."

He said Married at First Sight was a great way to show people what not to do in a relationship.
