Married at First Sight Australia star Sebastian Guilhaus has been charged with drug trafficking after a police raid at his Perth address allegedly uncovered meth with a street value of around NZ$97000.

The Perth Advertiser reported he is now behind bars after being arrested on Friday in the raid.

Guilhaus was charged in Adelaide Magistrates Court with one count of trafficking in a commercial quantity of methamphetamine.

He was remanded in custody to reappear in court later this week for a bail hearing.

The Advertiser reported police as saying the arrest followed an extensive investigation by the Serious and Organised Crime Branch. The investigation's leading officer, Detective Superintendent Billy Thompson, described the 870g of methamphetamine found as "significant".

"Methamphetamine causes terrible harm to users and to our communities. Those who traffic illicit drugs in these amounts do so purely for their own greed, they have no care for others," said supt. Thompson.

Guilhaus starred in MAFS in 2020 when he was partnered with bride Lizzie Sobinoff, but the couple split a year later.

He went on to become an OnlyFans creator and recently performed in a pornographic video with fellow former MAFS AU star Hayley Vernon.
