Doughnut juggernaut Krispy Kreme is expanding across Auckland, with two new stores set to open this year.
The sweet treat empire will open a site at Auckland Airport's domestic terminal in early October, meaning travellers will be able to grab doughnuts and coffee on the go. Another new store will open in the the CBD's Chancery Square the following month.

UberEATS will also be available from the CBD store.
The announcement comes five months after the Manukau store launch, which was the largest Krispy Kreme opening ever executed worldwide.
The flagship store currently serves 10,000 customers a week. A spokesperson for Krispy Kreme said fresh doughnuts will be delivered hot off the line from the Manukau branch to the two new locations daily.
Andrew McGuigan, CEO of Krispy Kreme Australia and New Zealand, says he's "thrilled" to be bringing more stores to Auckland.
"We've been overwhelmed by Kiwi demand for Krispy Kreme and are excited by the success the Manukau store has experienced since opening in February. We can't wait for more Kiwis to have access to our delicious, fresh doughnuts and hot barista-made coffee," he says.
Krispy Kreme's new Auckland stores will create more than 60 new jobs, in addition to the 140 staff currently employed at their Manukau site.
Earlier this year, Krispy Kreme gave away 5000 free doughnuts to celebrate International Doughnut Day.
