An Instagram influencer who shared all the details of her lavish seven-day engagement on social media has come under fire for her a photo of her giant ring, dubbed tacky and compared to a potato.
Travel blogger and YouTuber Laura G, who boasts almost 2 million Instagram followers, was whisked away on a romantic week-long proposal by her millionaire boyfriend Dhar Mann.

Activities including several days of pampering, a shopping trip in Beverly Hills, the buying of a Los Angeles apartment, a trip to Disneyland and finally being whisked away to Paris, where Mann proposed on a private rooftop overlooking the Eiffel Tower.
But when Laura shared an image of the giant diamond engagement ring on Instagram, many couldn't get over the ridiculous size.
In a popular engagement shaming group on Facebook, commenters had a field day.
"The stones and setting are wider than her actual finger. It's so out of proportion," one person observed.
"That just screams 'hey, someone steal this from me!' Goodness. It's got to be 6-8 karats. 100-200Kish. That's if it's real..." another pointed out.
One commenter even went as far as to compare it to a potato, to which another replied "don't insult potatoes".
But on the couple's YouTube video of the week-long affair, comments were nothing but supportive.
"Please tell me that I'm not the only one who was crying while watching this?" one person asked.
"Damn he's such an amazing man… alot of people wish they had a man like him [sic]," another gushed.
Although there's no word on how much the giant rock cost, The Sun reports Mann previously proposed to ex-fiance Lilly Ghalichi with an NZ$1.8m sparkler before their split in 2014.
