Co-housing is the concept of shared neighbourhood life.
It was wildly popular in the 70s, with different neighbourhoods popping up all over the world.
But it didn't come here until the late 90s.
And the founder of New Zealand's first co-housing community, Robin Allison, spoke The AM Show.
