Model and mum-of-one Emily Ratajkowski has insisted that getting divorced before the age of 30 is "chic", adding that marriage isn't "all it's cracked up to be".

The 32-year-old took to TikTok on Wednesday (local time) to share her support for those who are going through or have already been through a divorce in their 20s, such as herself.

"So it seems that a lot of ladies are getting divorced before they turn 30 and as someone who got married at 26, has been separated for a little over a year, [and is now] 32, I have to tell you - I don't think there's anything better," she began.

"Being in your 20s is the trenches," she continued. "There is nothing better than being in your 30s, still being hot, having boundaries, maybe having a little bit of your own money, figuring out what you want to do with your life... and having tried that married fantasy and realising that it's maybe not all it's cracked up to be. You've got your whole life still ahead of you."

Ratajkowski married now-disgraced film producer Sebastian Bear-McClard in 2018, with the pair welcoming their son, Sylvester Apollo, in March 2021.

The two separated in July 2022, with Ratajkowski filing for divorce in September in the wake of allegations that accused Bear-McClard of sexual misconduct. He and Ratajkowski remain involved in a contentious divorce and custody battle, as per Variety.

"So for all those people who are feeling stressed about that, about being divorced, like, it's good. Congratulations," the Gone Girl actress concluded her video, adding in the caption: "Personally I find it chic to be divorced by the age of 30."

The video came hours after Sophie Turner, 27, confirmed her split from husband of four years Joe Jonas, 34, who filed for divorce from Turner on Wednesday.
