It's a far cry from the billions on offer in the US Mega Millions lottery, but a lucky Wellingtonian took home $1 million in Saturday night's Lotto draw.
The winning ticket was sold at Countdown Newtown.
Powerball was not struck, and will rise to $6 million on Wednesday. Strike Four also rolled over, and will be $200,000.
The winning numbers were 4, 12, 26, 28, 32 and 35. The Powerball was 1, the Bonus 21. Strike was 28, 26, 12 and 4.
