New Zealand's retail petrol prices have soared back toward - in some places above - $3 per litre.
The higher prices reflected a rise in oil costs, largely driven by global supply cutbacks. Locally, the inflated costs were also on the back of the Government's reversal of the temporary fuel excise duty subsidy.
With oil prices possibly rising even further - as anticipated by the International Energy Agency - here are some of New Zealand's cheapest petrol stations on Thursday, as per price-tracking app Gaspy (91 octane only).
