Lotto: Auckland player wins $1 million, 10 other punters claim more than $20,0000 - here's where winning tickets were sold

A lucky Auckland Lotto player will be waking up $1 million richer on Thursday morning after winning First Division on Wednesday.

The winning ticket was sold at Mitchell’s Paper Power in Auckland. 

Powerball was not struck on Wednesday and has rolled over to Saturday night, where the jackpot will be $5 million.  

Strike Four has also rolled over and will be $600,000 on Saturday night. 

Meanwhile, 10 Lotto players will feel on top of the world after each winning $20,762 in Second Division on Wednesday night.   

One lucky player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $33,171. 

The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold on MyLotto to a player from Auckland. The winning Second Division tickets were sold in Auckland, Morrinsville, Hamilton, Waikato, New Plymouth, Wellington and Milton.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of the above stores should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto or through the MyLotto App," a spokesperson said.
