Lotto: Christchurch player wins $1 million, 14 punters claim $19,000 – here's where winning tickets were sold

A Christchurch Lotto player will wake up very happy on Sunday morning after winning $1 million with First Division on Saturday.  

The winning ticket was sold at Fresh Choice Prebbleton in Christchurch. 

The winning numbers were 5, 13, 20, 32, 34, and 35. The bonus ball was six and the Powerball was six.   

Powerball was not struck on Saturday evening and has rolled over to Wednesday night, where the jackpot will be $10 million. Strike Four has also rolled over and will be $400,000 on Wednesday night. 

Meanwhile, 14 lucky Lotto players will be dancing in their living rooms after each winning $19,802 with Second Division on Saturday night.   

One lucky player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $37,481. 

The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold at Greenmeadows New World in Napier. The winning Second Division tickets were sold in Auckland, Waikato, Papamoa, Napier, Palmerston North, Wellington, Nelson, Greymouth and Clutha.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from Fresh Choice Prebbleton should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," a Lotto spokesperson said.
