Lotto: Napier player wins $6 million, 17 punters claim $15,000 – here is where the winning tickets were sold

The stars have aligned for a lucky Napier Lotter player on election night after winning $6 million with Powerball First Division on Saturday. 

The winning ticket was sold at Greenmeadows New World in Napier. The prize is made up of $5 million from Powerball First Division and $1 from Lotto First Division. 

Saturday night's winner is the thirteenth Powerball multi-millionaire of 2023 and the win comes just one week after a $24.25 million Powerball prize was won by a man in Lower Hutt.  

The winner numbers were 4, 6, 9, 12, 20 and 36. The bonus ball was 5 and powerball was 1.  

Strike Four has rolled over on Saturday and will be $500,000 on Wednesday night. 

Meanwhile, 17 lucky Lotto players will be celebrating after each winning $15,283 with Second Division on Saturday night. 

One lucky player also won Powerball Second Division, taking their total winnings to $31,786. 

The winning Powerball Second Division ticket was sold at Paper Plus Whakatāne. The winning Second Division tickets were sold at stores in Whangārei, Auckland, Whakatāne, Ōpōtiki, Taranaki, Ōpunake, Marton, Wellington, Marlborough, Christchurch, Ashburton, Timaru and Otago.

"Anyone who bought their ticket from Greenmeadows New World should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," a Lotto spokesperson said.
