Lotto: Two players share $1 million, 15 punters claim $13,000 – where winning tickets were sold

Two lucky Lotto players from Auckland and Wellington have had an early Christmas present after each winning $500,000 with First Division on Wednesday night.   

The winning tickets were sold on MyLotto to players from Auckland and Wellington.  

The winning numbers were 3, 9, 16, 19, 25 and 34. The bonus ball was 1 and Powerball was 5.  

Powerball was not struck on Wednesday night and has rolled over to Saturday, where the jackpot will be $8 million.  

Strike Four has also rolled over and will be $300,000 on Saturday night.  

Meanwhile, 15 lucky players will be starting the weekend early after each winning $13,261 with Lotto Second Division.   

The winning Second Division tickets were sold at stores in Auckland, Hamilton, Thames-Coromandel, Rotorua, Napier, Hastings, Wellington, Lower Hutt, Marlborough, Dunedin City and Invercargill City.

 "Anyone who bought their ticket from on MyLotto should check their ticket as soon as possible in-store, on MyLotto, or through the MyLotto App," a Lotto spokesperson said.
