A motorcyclist is in a serious condition after hitting a car west of Taupiri.
The accident happened around midday on Rotowaro Rd in Glen Afton, Waikato.
The serious crash unit is attending the scene, and the road is likely to be closed on Sunday afternoon.
Four people have died on the roads since the official holiday toll began at 4pm on Friday.
