The birth of Jacinda Ardern's first child with her partner Clark Gayford has been celebrated by the world's largest online search engine.
In case you missed it, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern gave birth to her first child - a daughter - on Thursday evening, sending not only New Zealand but also the international community into a frenzy of celebration.
Ms Ardern and Clarke Gayford have received an overwhelming amount of well wishes from the public, from celebrities, and even multinational corporations.
Alphabet-owned online search engine giant Google has celebrated the birth of the child by embedding a Google homepage graphic by Wellington-based artist Stephen Templer that says 'Congratulations!' when you hover over it with your curser.
The image is an interpretation of the original 'fish hook' image from Ms Ardern's January 19 pregnancy announcement on social media. Ms Ardern posted an image of two large fish hooks to announce her pregnancy.
The two large fish hooks represent Ms Ardern and Mr Gayford as parents and the small fish hook represents her baby. Mr Gayford is the presenter for the New Zealand fishing show documentary Fish of the Day.
"I'll be Prime Minister AND a mum, and Clarke will be "first man of fishing" and stay at home dad," Ms Ardern said in the post on Instagram.
"I think it's fair to say that this will be a wee one that a village will raise, but we couldn't be more excited."
Google is famous for adding graphics to its homepage logo that allude to current affairs. In 2001, Google's "first doodler", Dennis Hwang, gave the Google homepage's logo a French Impressionist look for Claude Monet's birthday.
