Police are seeking information after a man allegedly assaulted two women in Upper Hutt.
The investigation comes after a 21-year-old woman was approached by a man while walking along Pine Ave in Ebdentown at around 2:30pm on Wednesday.
He indecently assaulted her before running off towards Savage St, police say.
Police are asking for further two other women to come forward who were walking along Pine Ave just ahead of the victim.
The victim who approached police about her own assault explained that she saw the man assault one of the two other women before he approached her.
The man is described as European, in his 40s, approximately 185cm-tall and of a slim build.
He was wearing a dark grey knitted hoodie with dark coloured pants and white shoes, and is described as having grey or white facial hair.
