A high profile media personality will face a jury trial over three assault charges, one of which relates to an attack with a frying pan.
He is also facing two other charges of assault.
The incidents allegedly happened on three separate occasions between May and September last year.
Details of the case are heavily suppressed because a judge said the person's occupation means he would be caused "extreme hardship" if his identity is published.
The suppression remains in place
