Power cuts have been reported across Auckland after a night of wild weather.
Vector has reported power outages in a number of Auckland suburbs including Otara, Muriwai, Titirangi, Herne Bay, and the Waioukou Valley.
"We know losing power is a big inconvenience but we'd like to reassure people that we have crews on standby ready to respond," said Vector chief networks officer Andre Botha.

"If there is damage to power lines we may need to de-energise electricity circuits to carry out repairs safety."
Strong wind gusts have the potential to damage power lines either directly or indirectly by causing vegetation and debris to blow into lines. In some cases this may cause power outages.
Fire crews were called to 17 incidents across the city on Thursday night, but so far there have been no reports of injuries.
Most of the incidents involved "trees down, power lines down, and a few of them were roofs lifting," said Fire and Emergency's Daniel Nicholson.
Gusts of 95km/h were recorded about Auckland Harbour Bridge and Whangaparaoa Peninsula earlier on Friday, MetService said on Twitter.
Strong winds are expected over the weekend, MetService says, with heavy rain set to fall over parts of central and southern parts of New Zealand.
The winds should ease in Auckland on Friday, WeatherWatch reports. In Northland, Auckland, Waikato and the Bay of Plenty it will be mostly sunny on Friday, but strong winds will pick up in the afternoon, it said.
Severe weather warnings have been issued for parts of the lower South Island. A heavy rain warning is in force for Fiordland, and will likely be extended to include Westland on Friday.
