An incident at Hampton Downs raceway south of Auckland has left one person in a serious condition.
St Johns says they were airlifted to Auckland Hospital around 10:30am on Saturday.
It comes a month after a person was killed in a motorcycle crash at Meremere Drag Raceway at Hampton Downs, Waikato.
Emergency services are also at the scene of a two-car collision north of Matamata.
Police were called to State Highway 27 near Walton road just after midday.
One person is critically injured and diversions are in place. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
