Police are searching for a person after a reported shooting in Auckland early Monday morning.

Emergency services were called to a house on Duke St, in Mt Roskill, just after midnight.
On arrival, both the alleged shooter and victim had disappeared.
The victim was later found at a property in west Auckland and was then taken to hospital.
The alleged shooter remains on the loose.
