Children's Commissioner Andrew Becroft is beefing up his support for Māori children.
He created a new role of Assistant Māori Commissioner for Children to build on the Treaty of Waitangi principles.
Glenis Philip-Barbara was appointed to the role and she spoke to The AM Show.
