It's one of the biggest racing events in the world to go ahead post-COVID-19, with thousands turning up to today's Boxing Day Races in Auckland.
While the pandemic has stopped many big events in their tracks this year, Boxing Day races at Ellerslie Racecourse trotted ahead regardless.
An estimated 14,000 people turned up to watch the racing today, a 40 percent increase on last year - in a day filled with competition, fashion, and animal rights activists.
