Police have made a renewed plea for anyone with information about a homicide in Wellington last month to come forward.
Rau Tongia, 33, was found shot dead in the driveway of a Karori property on December 20, police say. A homicide investigation was launched the same day.
In an update on Tuesday, police said the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone close to the scene at Percy Dyett Dr or the nearby Karori Park area between 4:30am and 4:45am who may have heard a gunshot or unusual noise, or noticed anything suspicious is urged to contact the investigation team.
They can be called on 105, quoting file number 201220/8063. People can also give information anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
