Wellington's bus services will be disrupted today as Tramways Union drivers meet to discuss the latest NZ Bus pay offer.

Services on some bus routes will stop at 9am, after the peak morning travel time, and will not restart until 3pm.

Other routes will continue as normal.

The Tramways Union says it expects the drivers to reject the latest proposal.

Last month NZ Bus served about 100 drivers with lockout notices after workers walked off the job for a one day strike following a breakdown in their collective agreement negotiations.

However, the Employment Court ordered an end to the bus driver lockout ruling it was unlawful and issued an interim injunction against it.
