One person is dead and two others are seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash near Kaiwaka, north of Auckland.
A police spokesperson confirmed to Newshub the serious collision occurred about 4km south of Kaiwaka at about 6pm on Friday.
State Highway 1 is currently closed and traffic is being diverted along Mangawhai Kaiwaka Rd and Mangawhai Rd, the spokesperson added.
