Three more teenagers have been arrested over a "ram-raid-style burglary" at a dairy in Auckland's St Heilers on Thursday. The burglary happened on Long Drive at around 5am.

After police reviewed CCTV footage, they carried out a search warrant at a Beach Haven address on Thursday, and a 15-year-old was arrested.

Then early on Friday morning, three teenagers were arrested after a stolen vehicle failed to stop near the Auckland suburb of Ōrakei.

"The vehicle eventually came to a stop after spikes were successfully deployed, with all the occupants being taken into custody at the scene," Detective Senior Sergeant Geoff Baber said in a statement on Friday.

Police said the three were aged between 14 to 17, and are set to appear in the Auckland Youth Court on numerous burglary and dishonesty offence charges.

Det Snr Sgt Baber said staff in 'Operation Rhino' will continue to make enquiries and cannot rule out any further charges being laid.
