Newshub is launching the 'coalition cauli' to see if it will survive longer than it takes for parties to form a Government.
The final election results have been revealed, showing National and ACT can't govern alone. Together, those two parties have just 59 seats, when they need 62 to govern. That means the two parties will need New Zealand First to govern.
The three parties will need to negotiate to come to some sort of governing arrangement. Incoming Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has refused to give a deadline for how long those discussions could take.
