A Southland farmer has been captured on video using a jetski on a farm after heavy rain left paddocks flooded.
Glenn Hazlett said the downpours waterlogged parts of the farm near Invercargill, so he took the opportunity to use his jetski.

"I asked the boss first, and he said go for it,” he said.
"It was on my day off, so it was just a bit of fun."
Hazlett said the water has now receded, so the farm’s brief jetskiing season is over for now.
