An exclusive look into the new Everest film

The wife of mountaineer Rob Hall says 20 years on, making sure her husband's story is told correctly is all that matters to her.

The new feature film Everest tells the true stories of those who set out to summit the world’s most dangerous peak in the 1996 climbing season.

Eight people would die that year, two of them being New Zealand mountain guides Andy Harris and Mr Hall.

It took Ms Arnold a long time to come to the table – she was approached many times before finally agreeing to help out with the movie.

But there was no film without her, because her and Rob’s story is the emotional core of the story.

And the response to the portrayal from Mr Hall’s family has been a positive one.
