The best horse racing duo in the country have continued their remarkable form in group one races.
Trainer Jamie Richards and jockey Opie Bosson have combined to take out the Sistema and Bonecrusher stakes at Ellerslie on Saturday.
Riding the favourite and Karaka Million winner Cool Aza Beel, Bosson eased past Vernazza to give the jockey his 73rd group one win.
Then just over an hour later the two combined again, Bosson riding Avantage to glory, beating home True Enough to win the 2020 Bonecrusher Stakes and giving Richards his 31st group one win.
The wins capped off a massive week for the two who have won four group ones in seven days after winning the Chipping Norton and Surround Stakes.
"Everybody says Opie is a great rider and you've only gotta watch him today to see what a freak he is," Richards said.
"We are very lucky to have a stable full of really exciting horses."
