Super Rugby Aotearoa: Crusaders rejigged for Highlanders derby

The Crusaders have made five changes to their starting side to take on the Highlanders in Dunedin on Saturday.

Will Jordan shifts to the wing to allow for vice-captain David Havili to slot in at fullback.

With Bryn Hall and George Bridge rested, Mitch Drummond comes in to claim the No.9 jersey and Leicester Faingaanuku to start on the left wing.

In the forwards, Tom Christie earns a start in place of Bill Harmon, while Ethan Blackadder replaces the injured Cullen Grace on the side of the scrum.

Grace has undergone surgery for a thumb fracture, which will likely rule him out of the remainder of Super Rugby Aotearoa.

Tasman prospect Fetuli Paea joins the bench for what promises to be his Super Rugby debut, alongside fit-again Oli Jager.

Andrew Makalio and Quinten Strange have also been cleared to return to the field and will start from the bench for their first Super Rugby Aotearoa appearance.
