Fainga'anuku has come flying in after trying to charge down the kick, and crashed into Hansen.

He hits the chest of Hansen, but then the head afterwards. This would be a harsh red card, but definitely in the realm of a yellow.

After a convincing 42-19 victory in last week's opener at Eden Park, the All Blacks can seal the series tonight, and preserve their 100 percent home record over Ireland.

Coach Ian Foster has been forced into a solitary change to the starting lineup, as Dalton Papalii replaces Sam Whitelock, and brings a reshuffle in the forwards that moves Scott Barrett into the second row.

Elsewhere, Chiefs prop Aidan Ross and Highlanders halfback Folau Fakatava have been named for possible test debuts from the bench.

Lock Patrick Tuipulotu also returns to the side, after needing special NZ Rugby dispensation after playing in Japan and missing Super Rugby, slotting in on the bench. 

Outside back Will Jordan is another to return, after he missed out at Eden Park after testing positive for COVID-19 last week.

Ireland have also made one change, bringing back winger Mack Hansen from his COVID-enforced absence to start in the No.14 jersey, taking the place of veteran Keith Earls.

Captain Johnny Sexton has also passed fit to play, after successfully completing concussion protocols following a head knock at Eden Park.
