Livestream: NZ Rugby CEO Mark Robinson, performance coach Wayne Smith to address Christchurch media conference

NZ Rugby chief executive Mark Robinson and Wayne Smith will address Smith's new appointment as performance coach to the All Blacks and Black Ferns at 9:30am in Christchurch.

The 'Rugby Professor' added to his already impressive CV last year, when he guided a troubled NZ women's programme to a successful defence of its World Cup crown on home soil, stepping down from his director-of-rugby role afterwards.

His new role will see him working alongside new Black Ferns coach Allan Bunting and Scott Robertson, when he takes over the All Blacks reins later this year.

"We are very fortunate to have someone of his calibre in our game and involved with our two top national teams, the Black Ferns and the All Blacks," said Robinson. "I know he is excited and energised by the challenge ahead, and I’m confident our players, fans and stakeholders will feel the same way."
