"The reality of dealing with the EU was that New Zealand meant very little to it," said trade negotiator Vangelis Vitalis.
But New Zealand's meat industry also isn't happy.

The Trade Minister believes it's a "high quality" deal.
Ardern will hold direct talks with the President of the EU, Ursula von der Leyen this week.
It means almost all current trade will be duty-free once the agreement comes into force.
