Jetstar has announced a trans-Tasman sale with cheap flights from Auckland to several Australian cities.
The sale includes airfares from $139 one way from Auckland to Melbourne and the Gold Coast. There are also flights from Christchurch to the two Australian cities for the same price and Wellington to the Gold Coast.
Auckland to Sydney airfares are also on sale for $149 one way.
The cheap flights are available from Tuesday until 11:59pm on Thursday, May 20, unless sold out prior.
Travel dates vary per route but include late July to mid-September 2021.
Jetstar's Aussie sale fares are:
- Auckland to Sydney from $149 one way
- Auckland to Melbourne (Tullamarine) from $139 one way
- Auckland to Gold Coast (Coolangatta) from $139 one way
- Christchurch to Melbourne (Tullamarine) from $139 one way
- Christchurch to Gold Coast (Coolangatta) from $139 one way
- Wellington to Gold Coast (Coolangatta) from $139 one way
The airline has also introduced greater flexibility in case of flight changes due to border changes, in an effort to reassure travellers during increased uncertainty because of COVID-19.
Jetstar says if customers are affected by changes to border restrictions, they will be able to get a credit voucher and in certain circumstances, cash refunds or free changes to flight dates or times.
Any potential customer should carefully check the fine print as well as the available dates.
