A London-based Kiwi marketing boss is cashing on Donald Trump by selling toilet rolls with the US President's face on them.

Tim Baker has sold more than 7000 rolls so far at £3 each (NZ$5.83), according to the Daily Mail.

Baker, wearing a Make Bog Roll Great Again hat in the style of Trump's red MAGA (Make America Great Again) hats, pushes around a shopping cart with the rolls and sells them on the streets.

Baker told the Daily Mail he believes his side business is so successful because the US President is "universally unpopular".

"I don't think anyone else will be as unpopular in the history of mankind," he said.

"Teenagers are buying them, Americans are buying them, Japanese tourists, French people and Germans, a few Australians."

For Mr Baker, selling the toilet rolls is just his side job - he runs a marketing company full time but is having so much success in selling the rolls he hopes to be on the property ladder by the end of the year.
