A woman has died after falling from a cliff at a popular selfie destination in Sydney, with witnesses claiming she may have been taking photos at the time.
Emergency services were called to Diamond Bay Reserve in the eastern suburb of Vaucluse around 11:20am on Saturday (local time). Initial reports claimed the woman had fallen 30 metres from a clifftop on to the rocks below, according to the Australian Associated Press.

The woman, who was believed to be 27, died at the scene after attempts at resuscitation. Police, paramedics, a rescue helicopter and surf lifesavers contributed to the rescue operation.
"Witnesses have told police the woman may have been taking photos when she fell," NSW police said in a statement.
Diamond Bay has become a popular tourist destination and 'selfie spot' in recent times. Thrill-seeking visitors are often seen climbing the fence to take photos on the cliff, reports the AAP.
In June, the Waverly Council agreed to investigate ways to further prevent and restrict visitors' movement around the area. The council has passed a motion to crack down on those risking their lives for a picture at Diamond Bay.
A recent study found that 259 people have died between 2011 and 2017 due to taking selfies at potentially dangerous destinations.
