Officials at the United Nations are under fire for putting underwear on nude statues on display in Paris.
French sculptor Stéphane Simon's work was on show at UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization's (UNESCO) European Heritage Days event, CNN reports.
His exhibition In Memory of Me shows nude classical-style statues of people taking selfies. But someone at UNESCO thought they were a bit rude, so dressed them in thongs - and one was reportedly put in a baby's nappy.
Simon isn't happy, saying the vandalism left him "humiliated".
"I felt ashamed, so deeply sad to see all these years of work and research broken," he told CNN. "For two days visitors came to meet, to ask me: 'But why did you do that?' But it was not my choice."

He said officials were aware the statues - like Michelangelo's 'David' - would be nude, and no one raised any problems beforehand.
UNESCO told him it was a "mistake made by one employee", he told CNN.
"We didn't want to censor the artist, and understand that he felt hurt," a spokesperson told UK paper The Times, admitting it was a "big mistake".
