Rumours announcing Queen Elizabeth's death have been dispelled.
Charlie Proctor, editor-in-chief at Royal Central addressed the claims the Queen passed away in the morning from a heart attack.
"I see we have reached that time of year where I have to dispel rumours of HM's passing," Procter posted on Twitter.
The rumours first began trending on Whatsapp in a group conversation 'Old Times'.
"Queens passed away this morning, heart attack, being announced 9:30 AM tomorrow," posted a Whatsapp user.
The post quickly began to trend and was shared on Twitter.
Procter further dispelled the rumour by stating that the "Queen is not dead," and is looking forward to hosting President Trump and other world leaders at Buckingham Palace for the NATO reception.
This is not the first time false rumours of the 93-year-old monarch's death have spread through social media.
Earlier this year a viral hoax caused people to believe the Queen was dead, while in 2015, BBC reporter Ahmen Khawaja tweeted "Queen Elizabeth has died," before quickly realising her mistake and apologising.
