An Australian mother who lost three children in a drink-driving crash has forgiven the alleged killer.

Leila Geagea Abdallah lost Antony, 13, Angelina, 12 and Sienna Abdallah, eight on Saturday night after a drunk driver ploughed through a group of seven children walking along the footpath.

The three siblings' cousin, Veronique Sakr, 11 also died in the crash.

The accused driver, 29-year-old builder Samuel William Davidson, was reportedly three times over the legal drink-driving limit when he mounted a kerb in his ute.

On Monday, Abdallah returned to the crash site, in Sydney, Oatlands where teddy bears and flowers now lie in remembrance of her children.

Surrounded by friends, Abdallah spoke out saying she will not hate the man who allegedly killed her children.

"The guy, I know he was [allegedly] drunk, driving on this street. Right now I can't hate him. I don't want to see him, but I don't hate him," she told news.com.au reporters.

"I think in my heart, I forgive him, but I want the court to be fair. It's all about fairness. I'm not going to hate him, because that's not who we are."

She says she can still feel her children with her.

"Danny and myself were blessed to have six kids. We loved our kids so much... I can feel them hugging me right now," she said.

Abdallah also told news.com.au reporters that nothing has felt real in the two days since the incident happened and she is still waiting for them to come home.

"My daughter was in surgery today and the first thing when I opened my eyes this morning I was waiting for Antony, Angelina and Sienna to run in and see her... it feels very unreal," Abdallah said.

Davidson appeared in court on Sunday and was denied bail.

Among the charges he faces are four counts of manslaughter, four counts of dangerous driving occasioning death as well as grievous bodily harm, drink driving, and driving through a red traffic light.

His next appearance is April 2.
