A Japanese restaurant in France has been the next victim of coronavirus-related racism after it was vandalised with tagging.

Yuki, in the western Paris suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt, was defaced with spray cans on Saturday night.

The racist inscription was sprayed over the windows of the restaurant and read: "coronavirus, get out" in large, white letters.

According to France Bleu, the owners filed a complaint with the police after having cleared the racist words.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, there have been multiple reports of racism against Chinese people.
