Google Earth has released over 1000 striking landscape photos, ranging from areas in Turkey to Antarctica.
"Today, we're making our biggest update to Earth View by adding more than 1000 new images to the collection, bringing the total to more than 2500 striking landscapes," said Gopal Shah, product manager of Google Earth.
Google Earth now features brighter colours, sharper images and resolutions up to 4K.
Shah said the imagery features more locations around the globe and has been made for modern high-resolution screens so the images can be used as phone backgrounds, screen savers and computer wallpapers.
Through Earth View, a person is able to zoom into a specific country. Or if you are unable to find the country a search bar pops up on the left side of the screen.
However, it does have some limitations, as countries like North Korea don't allow street views or any photos with details.
